Who we are
Human Appeal (Bangladesh) is a humanitarian organization working to make immediate and lasting improvements in the lives of people affected by poverty and disaster. The organization is dedicated to serving humanity and developing society through various welfare activities.
Moreover, HAB works with people whose lives are dominated by extreme poverty, illiteracy, disease, and disabilities and aims to improve the quality of life of the disadvantaged people in its working areas through a variety of development interventions. The organization desires to make the people financially and structurally strong. Also it’s committed to ensure peoples participation, develop participatory decision making process and implementation for the environment friendly socioeconomic development of the targeted people, improving quality of work and mobilize peoples support for reaching the goal are the mission of this organization. The HAB team consists of a chunk proactive meritorious professionals having a diversified academic background, technically sound, practically oriented and workaholic in reality leading the organization to take it into a new era to orchestrate the upcoming program. After all, the team having strong public relationship with any relevant partner will help the organization flourish exponentially.
History of HAB
HAB is a national, non-political, and humanitarian NGO founded in 2004 with a mission to improve the socio-economic status of underprivileged, marginalized, and hard-to-reach communities. Officially recognized by the NGO Bureau in 2010 (approval no. 2555), we have been tirelessly working for the betterment of the country and humanity ever since.
From its inception, Human Appeal (Bangladesh) has successfully initiated and implemented numerous projects with the financial and technical support of individuals, donor organizations, and the government. The organization was formed through the active efforts of dedicated local social workers from various disciplines, including Dr. Noor Mohammed Badiur Rahman and other qualified social activists. Our strong Management Committee and skilled staff team, led by committed social activists, are dedicated to driving our development initiatives forward. With the support of various organizations both domestically and internationally, we are committed to serving humanity and developing society through diverse welfare activities. Our primary objectives include promoting the socio-economic status of rural poor and disadvantaged communities, with a special focus on women and children.

Objectives
- To Identify disadvantaged people for improvement of their living standard.
- Identifying unskilled people to enhance skills by providing education & training facilities.
- Providing relief & rehabilitation support to the disaster affected people during natural calamities.
- Arrange medical aid for the unprivileged people to ensure their good health.
- To facilitate people for raising their social awareness and sustainable livable environment.
- To be aware about gender discrimination and their rights establishment.
- To ensure WASH facilities for the target people.
